CO-Marathi Mandal has started Marathi Shala for Marathi kids in Denver and nearby areas. Marathi Shala is a part of Marathi Mandal initiated by Bruhan Maharashtra Mandal (BMM).

For Marathi language study, overall emphasis is on 60% oral communication and 40% reading and writing. In addition, we will cover Marathi songs, Kavita, Shlok, Drawing, Craft etc. Marathi Shala is not only limited to classroom teaching, but we also organize summer camp, picnic, day trips, outdoor games, knowledge based Marathi movie night, get together, festival celebration etc.

About US!

Colorado Marathi Mandal is a non-profit organization, founded in 2004. Our objective is to preserve rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra, away from home, in our home in Rockies.

We try to bring together Marathi speaking families from Denver, and surrounding areas like Fort Collins, Westminster, Boulder, Colorado Springs, etc. to collectively celebrate our traditional festivals.

Ganeshostav, Diwali, Sankrant, and Gudhi Padwa are some such events.

Through out the year, we also try to offer professional programs. We currently have around 150 members, and our executive committee will help make your transition to Colorado as easy as possible.
